About Us

We are a typical family in Florida. We are both attorneys and parents to two wonderful children. On weekends, you could usually find us at the beach or just being together as a family. As our children grew, interests like horseback riding and sports came into the picture, but our family was always together and filled with love and support.

We started this website to help families and the loved ones of those who need mental health treatment. When we realized our oldest child need more intensive support to be independent, the inpatient treatment world was new to us and we did not know what to expect. We had assumed that going to one of “the best” facilities was the answer. We also assumed that because Menninger Clinic had a program of “in-depth testing,” we could rely on their diagnoses to help our daughter now and into the future.

We were wrong. We have learned from our mistakes and hope to share our experience and learning with others so that they can find the right place for their loved one.
